Clean room sheets. Comfy. A little outdated TV and bathroom. Spacious king bed. Ok breakfast. So so coffee. Older elevator Great location to go to casino in Tampa
Originally, our room was wrong but the staff was amazing about getting us into the correct type of room. The beds aren't all that comfortable for people whose bodies requires softness, but if you like a firmer mattress, they're good. The bathrooms are a bit small for bigger individuals, but they do have handicap rails in the tub and non-slip material. Over-all, I was pretty happy with my stay.
The elevator seems like a death trap. It made banging noises everytime we used it. At one point the elevator door got stuck open and the attendant had to push it in for it to come back out to close. Needs updates. Staff was nice and the location was great.
Extremely Pleasant Stay! The Service and Staff are Excellent! The Rooms are Nice , Clean, and Orderly. Short walking distance to two affordable restaurants and a mini mart. Pet friendly Hotel with a large ground area to walk your dog. Very Pleasant and Hard Working Staff. La Quinta Hotel strives to be even more Excellent! Thank you for my Stay. I recently stayed at this property and had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—check-in was smooth, and every interaction with the front desk was professional and pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a restful night’s sleep. While the building is a little older, it’s clear that management is maintaining it well and making improvements. The location was perfect for my visit—close to everything I needed, and parking was easy. For the price, it’s hard to beat the value. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in the area!
The room was clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was OK.
We only stayed here a couple of nights to go to the casino. Upon arrival we were both greeted by someone at the front desk and a virtual kiosk, check-in went very smoothly. The first room we were given had a terrible odor, but the staff were very accommodating giving us a new room. The second room was very clean and everything worked properly. This was a good value hotel with a great location.
This is a very interesting Hotel. You really don't interface with anyone everything is done for your phone or through the kiosk in the lobby. Will stay was great but personally I prefer to interface with a human.. especially when checking in. However, should you need a rise I would stay at this La Quinta again.
